The new NEPHELOstar measures forward light
scatter in microplates and offers the HTS/ Drug Screening
laboratory an easy to use, low cost, and rapid method for
checking the solubility of compounds. The flexibility and
performance of the NEPHELOstar allows more applications
to be adapted to nephelometry than ever before: - drug solubility
testing - bacterial and fungal growth - quality control
- quantification of macromolecules (e.g. specific proteins)

If you need the highest luminescence sensitivity
in a microplate reader, then the LUMIstar will meet your
requirements. The LUMIstar has been validated for Promega’s
popular Dual-Luciferase® reporter assay and carries the
DLR™ icon. The unit comes standard with top and bottom reading,
45°C incubation, plate shaking, and the ability to control
three on-board reagent injectors.

Designed for cell-based assays and a whole
lot more, the NOVOstar provides both fluorescence and luminescence
measurements in addition to the flexibility of an on-board
reagent pipet. The pipet can transfer reagents from plate
to plate or from three reagent stations to the measurement
microplate. In addition, the unit has two injectors that
can accurately deliver reagents to any of the measurement
plate wells. Other unique NOVOstar features include multiple
kinetic windows allowing you to collect high-resolution
data when you need it and high-performance luminescence
for extraordinary sensitivity in cellular assays.

The THERMOstar is a high performance temperature
controlled shaker which accommodates up to 4 microplates.
Temperature, shaking speed and incubation time are fully
programmable via a keypad, while the status parameters are
displayed on the LCD in real time. Microprocessor-controlled
heating plates above and below the microplates provide uniform
incubation with less than 0.6°C variation between any two
wells

The Stacker is a modular attachment for
our OPTIMA and Galaxy series of plate readers that can dramatically
increase your plate throughput. The Stacker can be attached
to the POLARstar, FLUOstar, LUMIstar, or NEPHELOstar and
will automatically feed 25 plates through the reader offering
bar coding capability and a practical mid-throughput solution
for laboratory automation.
